This Code of Conduct serves as a guide and framework for our actions. We respect the rules and laws set forth herein. We expect our partners to adhere to these rules and laws as well. Recognition, respect, and trust form the foundation of our collaboration with all our business partners and employees.
HANSA Klimasysteme GmbH is committed to socially and environmentally responsible business practices. We expect the same from all our suppliers. We also expect our employees to adhere to the principles of ecological, social, and ethical conduct and integrate them into our corporate culture. We continuously review our business practices and strive to optimize our products and services with regard to sustainability.
This code of conduct defines our principles and the resulting requirements for suppliers of HANSA Klimasysteme GmbH with regard to their responsibility towards people and the environment. Compliance with all applicable laws and standards is the basis of all our activities.
Compliance with legal regulations
We are all committed to complying with applicable laws and regulations and to making our daily decisions based on our company values and the principles of the Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct provides us with practical guidance and advice in this regard. It also helps us to identify misconduct and abuses and to respond appropriately.
Fair business practices
The quality of our company's products and services is the key to our success. We do not tolerate corruption. We only grant benefits to business partners, customers, or other external third parties within the legally permissible framework and established guidelines.
Any form of corruption or extortion is prohibited. Embezzlement and other comparable activities involving illicit benefits, or even the attempt to gain an unfair advantage from customers and/or other third parties through such conduct, will be consistently prevented. Accepting improper benefits is also prohibited.
Upholding human rights
We respect, protect and promote the applicable regulations for the protection of human and children's rights as fundamental and universally valid principles.
We reject all forms of child labor, forced labor, compulsory labor, modern slavery, and human trafficking. This applies not only to internal collaboration within our company but also, of course, to our conduct towards business partners.
Appropriate measures must be taken to avoid the use in products of raw materials originating from conflict and risk areas that contribute to human rights violations, corruption, the financing of terrorism or similar negative behavior.
Compliance with working conditions
Occupational safety and health are guaranteed and comply with applicable legal standards. Work is designed in such a way as to eliminate any risk to mental and physical health. It is ensured that working conditions are regularly assessed and that appropriate measures are taken immediately in the event of violations.
The statutory working time regulations of the applicable provisions must be observed.
All employees have the right to fair remuneration. Applicable remuneration regulations must be observed, in particular the legal provisions regarding minimum wages.
Equal opportunities and equal treatment
Equal opportunities and equal treatment for all employees are guaranteed. Any discrimination, regardless of gender, race or ethnic origin, religion or belief, disability, age or sexual identity, must be prevented or eliminated.
No employee will be subjected to physical punishment, threats of violence, or sexual, psychological, or verbal harassment.
Ecological responsibility
As a company, we take responsibility for the environmental compatibility and sustainability of our products and services. We rely on environmentally friendly, advanced, and efficient technologies. Even in the development and production phases, we ensure the careful use of natural resources, the continuous reduction of our environmental impact, and compliance with environmental protection laws and regulations.
Data protection and information security
Personal data is handled confidentially and responsibly and processed exclusively in accordance with applicable data protection and information security laws. In accordance with the requirements of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we have appointed a data protection officer. We also comply with national regulations such as the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).
We protect our company's proprietary know-how and acknowledge the intellectual property of others.
The privacy of all those affected must be respected and it must be ensured that personal data is effectively protected and used only for legitimate purposes.
For future cooperation, the contracting parties agree to the application of the above regulations as a joint code of conduct. This agreement shall apply equally to all future supply and service relationships.
Monitoring and implementation take place within the framework of the quality management system.
