Since not all exhibits can be presented in the exhibition rooms at the same time, a storage location is needed in which the valuable exhibits are kept at a constant temperature, humidity and dust-tightness. These conditions are met in the almost 1000 m² art depot. Approximately 70,000 objects, including a collection of paintings, textiles, furniture and sacred art worth several million euros, are stored here.
